Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what this is

Diary of a Pro Gambler ("we", "us") operates a sports-betting community platform at diaryofaprogambler.com. We provide research tools, betting analysis, published tips, a live-commentary audio stream, member chat, and a personal bet tracker. We are not a bookmaker — we do not take bets, hold customer funds, or facilitate wagers.

These Terms govern your use of the service. By creating an account or continuing to use the site, you agree to them.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old. Our content relates to gambling, which is an adults-only activity in every jurisdiction we operate in.
• You must not be resident in a jurisdiction where accessing gambling-related content is unlawful. It's your responsibility to know your local law.
• You must not be self-excluded from gambling services, nor should your use of our service put you or anyone else at risk of gambling harm. See the Responsible Gambling section below.

3. Your account

You register with an email, username, password, and country. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity performed under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, break the community guidelines, abuse other members, or attempt to exploit the service technically.

4. Memberships and payments

Paid tiers unlock additional features (VIP chat, strategy tools, live-betting audio, published tips). Pricing is shown on the pricing page. Every new paid subscription starts with a 30-day free trial; no payment is taken during the trial period. We email you before the trial ends.

4.1 Billing

• Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details never touch our servers.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can change plan, cancel at the end of the current period, or reactivate a cancellation any time from your account page.

4.2 Refunds

Because subscriptions include immediate access to digital content and a free trial, we do not normally offer refunds for paid periods already started. If you believe there are exceptional circumstances — a billing error, inaccessible content, or similar — email us and we'll try to resolve it fairly.

5. What you can and can't do

You may:

• Use the site for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
• Discuss sport and betting with other members in chat and comments.
• Track your own bets in the bet tracker.

You may not:

• Scrape, re-distribute, or resell our tips, research, odds data, or live-audio content. Tips are for the personal use of subscribers.
• Share your account with anyone else, or transfer your subscription.
• Use the chat, comments, or profile surfaces to harass, bully, threaten, dox, defame, or spam other members; to post content that is illegal, obscene, or infringes rights; or to coordinate fraud against bookmakers or other members.
• Attempt to circumvent tier gates, rate limits, or authentication controls, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without prior written permission.

6. Tips, analysis, and no financial advice

Our tips and analysis are opinion and entertainment. They are not financial advice, investment advice, or guarantees of future performance. Past performance (including our published results page) is not a reliable indicator of future results.

You are solely responsible for any bet you choose to place. We do not place bets on your behalf. We are not liable for losses resulting from following our tips or using our tools.

7. Responsible gambling

Gambling can be harmful. If you're worried about your own or someone else's gambling, support is available in the UK from BeGambleAware, GamCare, and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 (free, 24/7). If our content is causing you harm, stop using the service and seek help.

8. User content

When you post chat messages, comments, bet descriptions, avatars, or profile content, you keep ownership of that content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it within the service for as long as your account is active. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or our community guidelines.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the service online but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, be added, or be removed. Live-audio streaming in particular depends on external infrastructure (LiveKit) and is subject to internet quality on both sides.

10. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence). Subject to that: our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for gambling losses, business losses, or indirect losses.

11. Termination

You can delete your account any time via account settings. Deletion removes your personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or to protect the service.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
